Eric, I agree with you, every household needs a junk drawer.

I was looking for a pen in our kitchen junk drawer one day, and I said to my daughter, "Wow, there are a lot of pens in this drawer!" I started pulling them all out and putting them on the counter next to her. In the end, we counted 48 pens. 48!!! It was so ridiculous. By the time I placed the last one on the counter, we were both screaming with laughter.
