It's interesting. I wonder if there's any relationship between this and how the brain processes things with background noise. I've always found it hard to study or concentrate when there is noise in the background, even music. Maybe that's why I find it hard to tolerate interruptions - even though I'm guilty of it too sometimes. I find those overlapping conversations exhausting but others enjoy them. We are all different. :)
