A college art teacher told us during an art teacher workshop, “I can teach anyone to draw except a two year old. They already know”.

He’s right. The first three years we are scribbling and ‘discovering’ color and gaining knowledge …

I'm glad educators are moving away from the colouring books and paint-by-numbers style of art instruction and allowing children more freedom to express themselves freely.
