Menopause is not fun but there are some things that can help you deal with it. Hot flashes can be eliminated with hormone replacement therapy (HRT) - a life saver for me. Sleep problems are harder to deal with but learning about sleep hygiene and following a good sleep routine helps a lot.

I stopped HRT after 6 years and still have the occasional hot flash but much milder than before. I'm walking 10,000 steps a day, doing light weight training and eating a healthy diet which resulted in a 30 lb weight loss. I also decided to go alcohol free a year ago and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'm still working on some health issues but keeping in good shape helps with both mental and physical health.

Look after yourself and good luck out there. You are strong and you can get through this like millions of other women before you. 💗
