My deepest sympathy, Jim. Carol sounds like a wonderful person and you will always find comfort in knowing you supported her until the end. You had a wonderful friend for 42 years and you'll miss her very much, I'm sure. Stay strong, be kind to yourself, spend time with good friends and happier times will find you soon.
