Oh Jan, what you and your sister are going through is unbearable and I hope it ends peacefully soon.

Nobody should have to suffer like this. We wouldn't let our pets continue in this state. Big changes are needed in end of life options.

People should have the right to make advance plans to exit life with dignity even if they are not able to participate in administering their own medications.

Your feelings of anger, impatience and guilt are normal and understandable. I hope they will soon be replace with relief with your sister's passing.
