Thank you for adding your voice to this important conversation. I've also written about this. Anyone who thinks it's okay for 9-year-old girls to marry is deeply disturbed. Raping a child is a horrific crime. People who follow a religion where this practice is acceptable may want to reconsider supporting that religion. Wherever we live in the world we need to speak out about injustice and abuse of human rights such as this one.
