This photo is of me executing an acroyoga move called a standing hand-to-hand, which is where the flyer (me) performs a handstand on a base’s hands. The base is standing up.

Thank you for inspiring me to write a Where I'm From poem, Debra. So many memories of childhood, parents and old friends surfaced while writing my poem, I have lots of new ideas for stories now thanks to you. 🙂

I've read many other Where I'm From poems now and they've given me a vivid glimpse into other lives and cultures. Though we may consider our lives ordinary, to others they are so different and interesting. I encourage others reading this to have a go.
