Thank you for this fascinating report, Dr Yildiz. When I lost my sense of smell during a bout of COVID, it made me fully appreciate how important this sense is, and how awful it would be to lose it permanently.

Scent technology has many useful applications. The one I'm most interested in is how it can be used to diagnose and treat medical conditions. I look forward to hearing more about developments in this field.
