Thank you for writing about this, Sean. Dr. Chaudhuri's story is heartbreaking and inspiring. The messages I received from this are:
- If you don't feel well, see a doctor sooner than later.
- If in doubt about your diagnosis or treatment plan, get a second or third opinion.
- Don't take life for granted - it may be shorter than you expect.
- Do something meaningful in life and make your time on Earth count.

Also, I believe people with terminal illnesses should be allowed to exit this life with dignity through Medical Assistance In Dying (MAID). I recently accompanied my aunt on this journey and it was one of the most profoundly moving experiences of my life. We don't choose to be born. We should be allowed to choose how we die.
