Thanks for writing about this Matt. I met a man called Al who was homeless. He told me he had to choose between a roof over his head and starving or living in a tent by the river and having food. That's a choice nobody should have to make. When I participated in the welfare food challenge and had to live on a budget of $18 a week, it gave me a glimpse of a life I wouldn't wish on anybody.
