The Glass Castle is One of the best books I've ever read and I've recommended it to all my friends and family. It's ridiculous for people to call for this book to be banned. That's as sensible as trying to ban poverty, mental illness or addiction. Children need to learn about these issues in school as well as at home. Problems don't go away by banning them.
