This is a brilliant piece of writing, Brad! I hope your story gets boosted on Medium and widely shared. It contains messages we all need to seriously consider.

I am disgusted by the unnecessary violence in sport. When guys take off their gloves and fight in hockey games I have to turn away. I'm embarrassed for them and don't want to see such childish behaviour.

And boxing, which I don't even consider a sport is the most ridiculous activity I ever saw. Where is the sportsmanship in smashing your oponent's face to smithereens?

Since the dawn of video games and the constant barrage of horror Netflix offers, people are becoming more and more immune to violence and this worries me.

Why do people enjoy playing games and watching shows where people are viciously hurt and killed. I don't understand it.
Violence whether on or off screen is always a bad thing and the more we are all exposed to it the worse we will become. Thank you for speaking up about this.
