This is so tragic. I wonder what kind of trauma their father must have been through for him to treat his little daughters like this and be completely incapable of parenting. No doubt he has his own tragic story.

You did the best you could to help them Michael and you're writing about them now, which shows how much you care. Hopefully others used their expertise to get these children into a safe home with supportive services to help them rebuild their lives.
