Waleed, your title caught my eye because I have have often had the experience of a kind action backfiring on me. You probably know the saying "No good deed goes unpunished." When this happens, my husband says, "I don't know why you bother." But I want to be a good role model to those around me so I keep trying to be kind even though it is sometimes not appreciated.
