Wise words, Roger. I've worked with "quiet quitters" and it is very obvious who they are. Having people like that on a team leads to resentment among those who have to pick up the slack and it isn't usually tolerated for long.
Many people "attend" work and are unable to do their jobs effectively due to mental health issues. If there was less stigma about mental illness, they might be more willing to ask for support. In some cases - not all - what looks like laziness, may actually be a silent cry for help.
